\nDoctor of Theology Degree (ThD)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Candidates will specialize in one of the fields of theological scholarship, such as: Hebrew Bible\/Old Testament; New Testament and Early Christian Studies; History of Christianity; Systematic Theology; Ethics; Church Growth and Mission Studies.<\/p>\n

Study for the degree of doctor of theology extends through three stages:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coursework, Knowledge Area Modules (KAM), and dissertation.
\nCandidates for this degree must fulfill the following:
\n6 credit hours of Course work
\n6 credit hours of Seminar: Theology: Oral and written presentation
\n24 credit hours of dissertation<\/p>\n

<\/strong>ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The applicant must have earned a master\u2019s degree in Divinity, Theology, or Biblical Studies.<\/p>\n

1<\/td>\nTHD890 – Introduction to Theological Research<\/strong>
\nThis course will provide students with the tools for doctoral level research and opportunities for reflection on becoming scholar-pastor. Students are introduced to the conduct and reporting of scholarly theological research.<\/td>\n		6<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
